Terms of ordering

These terms cover ordering from Nonna's Italian Kitchen. They are written in plain English on purpose.

Who we are

Nonna's Italian Kitchen is a pickup and delivery kitchen at 188 Main St, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035, with no dining room. We are open every day from 11 am to 8:55 pm. When you order from us, you agree to these terms.

Ordering and payment

Orders are placed and paid for online on our ordering page, which DoorDash runs for us. You pay when you order, and there's no paying at the counter. Payment and delivery on that page are also covered by its own terms of service, which DoorDash publishes.

We cook what the order says, so check the dishes, options and special instructions before you pay.

Prices and tax

Prices are in US dollars and are set by the kitchen. Before you pay, our ordering page shows the price of each dish, New Jersey sales tax of 6.625% and, for delivery, the delivery fee.

Pickup and delivery

For pickup, come to the counter at 188 Main St and give the name on the order. Delivery is by DoorDash drivers. Ready and delivery times are estimates, and a busy service can push them back.

Problems, changes and refunds

If something is missing or wrong, or you need to change or cancel an order or ask for a refund, use the help option on your DoorDash order or receipt as soon as you can. For a pickup order, you can also tell us at the counter. The kitchen starts cooking as soon as an order comes in, so a change may not be possible once it's cooking.

Catering

Catering and large orders are by arrangement. Send a request on our catering page at least a day ahead, and we'll work out the details with you.

Allergens and food safety

Our food is made in one shared kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, shellfish, fish and nuts. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free of an allergen. Tell us about allergies in the special instructions when you order and we will do our best, but if an allergy is severe, please don't order a dish you can't confirm is safe for you.

Food is at its best when it is fresh. Eat it soon after it arrives, or refrigerate it and reheat it thoroughly.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for cooking what you ordered. Ready and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic or other things outside our control.

Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to it.
