Privacy notice

This notice explains what Nonna's Italian Kitchen collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the site itself collects very little, because orders are taken on our ordering page, which DoorDash runs for us. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

When you order

Orders are placed on our ordering page, which DoorDash runs for us. That page collects what it needs to take your order, such as your name, contact details and payment, plus your address for delivery. Its privacy policy, published by DoorDash, explains how that information is used and the choices you have.

The kitchen receives what it needs to make and hand over your order, such as your name, what you ordered and any special instructions.

Catering requests

If you send a catering request, we keep what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email if you give one, the date, the number of people and your message. It is saved in the database behind this website so we can reply and plan the order with you.

Page counts and hosting

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, and it shows us totals, such as which pages are visited, not who visited them.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps technical logs of requests to the site to run and protect it.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for visitors, and it has no advertising trackers. The map on our Hours & location page is loaded from Google Maps, and Google's privacy policy covers what Google collects when it loads.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run this website: Vercel, which hosts it, and Supabase, which runs the database that stores catering requests. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. We may share it if the law requires us to, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

There is no set time. You can ask us to delete your catering request at any time, and we will.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct something that is wrong.
• Delete your details.

To ask, come to the counter at 188 Main St, or send the request through the form on our catering page. We may ask you to confirm the phone number you gave, so we know we are talking to the right person. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

New Jersey and a number of other states have privacy laws that give residents rights like these, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information and of its use for targeted advertising. We are a small business and may fall below the thresholds where those laws apply, but we honor these requests anyway. We do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their details, ask us in one of the ways above and we will delete them.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
